On February’s Snowy Full Moon, we completed the process of creating a drum for a strong, extraordinary, and sensitive man who has been playing drums since he was 14. The process of creating the drum is a conscious process: choosing the wood, color, size, symbols, and axe. Each stage was discussed and embedded in the lunar cycle with mindfulness and symbolism. On December’s full moon, an axe was chosen as the symbol of Perun, which became the drum’s axis and the carrier of its intentions. The axe as a tool of liberation, the Axe of Light cutting through bonds, and the images on the drum are conscious decisions very important for the guardian. The drum became a tool of transformation, presence, and courage in speaking truth, shedding masks, and seeking depth. The first sound of the drum appeared at the perfect moment, during the Circle, and now carries a vibration that supports rhythms, men’s circles, and rituals. We express immense gratitude for the opportunity to intentionally create the drum in conjunction with our spirit guides. Gratitude for the bond of friendship that grew stronger with the creation of the drum. Long live it!
