DoubleYouDums is a manufacture of frame drums with vegan – synthetic membranes.
DoubleYouDrums symbolizes the doubled power and synergy, the player with the drum.
All the materials we use in DoubleYouDums are free from animal products, the exception are personally collected feathers and antlers, found in the forest or from ethical sources. We sometimes use beeswax.
DRUMHEADS – vegan, synthetic,
stable in all weather conditions
We offer four types of synthetic membranes, four sounds:
Fiberclacsic: Classic sound, stable tone, fast attack, clear transients, long sustain, rich harmonic.
DrumEssence: A deep, full sound with a shorter sustain and less harmonics.
EarthTone: Warm, natural sound, soft texture, short sustain, soft attack.
DeepGround: A strong attack, a short sustain, “grounding” sound, low tone.
Our membranes are durable, resistant to moisture and sound great both at concerts, in the studio and outdoors.

Our drum frames are made of wood from local suppliers, we also use the exotic sapele wood.
Frames retain their properties even after a short exposure to a very dry or wet environment.
Wood to choose from: beech, ash, oak, alder, pine, sapele.

TUNING SYSTEM:
